This collaboration reflects DEIF’s commitment to safeguarding its systems against cyber threats and ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations, such as IEC 62443, the NIS2 Directive, and the upcoming Cyber Resilience Act.
A Strategic Partnership for Cybersecurity and Compliance
Recognizing the evolving landscape of cyber threats, DEIF has collaborated with Cryptera over the past year to implement high-level security measures for its operational technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) devices. By leveraging Cryptera’s expertise, DEIF is aligning its products with global security standards while addressing the critical need for compliance with EU regulations.

DEIF has opted to outsource its Key Management and Code Signing operations to Cryptera, leveraging Cryptera’s end-to-end managed services. This decision allows DEIF to avoid the complexities of internal development and the ongoing demands of system maintenance, including patch management. Instead, the company gains a streamlined, robust solution that aligns with IEC 62443, that minimizes manual processes and enforces essential security protocols from device production to decommissioning.
